"OPTION B" Medical Coverage

As with all medical endorsements, the medical premium is fully earned (no medical premium can be refunded). Available in addition to mortality coverage for horses ages six months to 15 years; minimum mortality premium is $150 / yr. Vet cert required for horses over $50,000 in insured value.

 

$7,500 Major Medical - $275 premium, $300 per incident deductible

• Medical payment will be the lesser of $7500 or the horse's insured value.

• Synovial fluid replacers (joint injections) whether or not used in conjunction with other treatments are excluded.

• NOT COVERED: Any previously existing condition, performance enhancing treatments or alternative medicine procedures, elective surgery, joint fluid replacement therapy, therapeutic shoeing, radial shock wave treatments unless an approved focused head machine is used, dental, developmental problems (i.e. OCD or congenital defects) or neurectomies.

 

$10,000 Major Medical - $400 Premium, $300 per incident deductible

• THE COVERAGE IS IDENTICAL FOR EACH LIMIT.
